Tony Moly Tomatox Wash Off Brightening Mask

Tony Moly Tomatox Mask
I got a full-sized tub of the Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Mask with my purchase of the latest Simply Her magazine. The tomato-shaped, bright red container contains 70g of thick white creamy mask dotted with tiny little red beads of oxygen.

The container does not have the ingredients list on it, and all I know is that there is tomato extract in this, though it doesn't smell like tomato at all. It has an artificial fragrance that I'm not fond of. Think Laneige.

Tony Moly Tomatox Mask
I have to say that it does work rather well in lightening the skin, albeit temporarily. Just massage the cream onto dry skin, leave on for 3 minutes, then wash it off (does not leave any residue behind) and you'll get the result below.

Nuxe Tonific Nutrition 24-Hr Nutri Hydrating Body Lotion

There are days when I prefer a calming and soothing scent like lavendar, or a sweet sophisticated scent like rose. On other days when I feel all sunshiny and ready for an afternoon of adventure with the boy, I reach for my tube of Nuxe Tonific Nutrition, the 24-hr Nutri-Hydating Body Lotion for dry and very dry skin. It comes with a flip-top cap and 200ml of Amazonian plant goodness.

Nuxe Tonific Body Lotion
Although it is a body lotion, it feels as rich as a body cream and leaves a light sheen of protection on the skin without feeling sticky. It has a fresh lemony scent which mellows a little and lingers on the skin for a good couple of hours.

Nuxe Tonific Body Lotion
It contains macadamia seed oil to nourish extremely dehydrated skin, cupuacu and murumuru butter to lock in moisture and prevent inflammation, and andiroba oil which is rich in vitamin F and essential fatty acids. It also contains tomato extract high in lycopene and bamboo extract which is rich in silica. It does however, contain glycols which some may deem as irritants, but there are claims of antimicrobial properties against even strep and e.coli.

Tony Moly's Red Appletox Honey Cream

Okay, so I got this as a sample when I went to collect the Tomatox Brightening Mask which came with every copy of Simply Her magazine. I got it last night, tried it this morning, and just had to create a post asap because it smells amazing! Although it contains apple and honey extracts, I don't smell the honey, but the initial scent smells like the crunch of a fresh red apple :) It does mellow to an artificial fragrance but you won't notice it once it's on your face. It reminds me of Skinfood and the peach sake toner which I loved using, except it broke me out eventually, probably due to the high alcohol content.

Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream
The cream is more of a thick serum-gel that goes on so silkily, I did wonder if there's any silicone in it. It does leave a layer on the skin not unlike most sleeping masks, but it does not feel sticky. It's still better to use it at night though.

It comes in a cute plastic container in the shape of a red apple, similar to this tomato container containing the Tomatox Wash Off Brightening Mask.

Arezia Mini Nail Polish #725 Purple Pink Shimmer

I have been on an Arezia Mini Nail Polish spree, considering how cheap it is and just perfect for someone who hardly finishes full-sized products. These are the latest four I got, and just managed to use #725 (third from top) over the weekend.

Arezia Mini Nail Polish
A light purple pink color with a silvery shimmer, it would take you more than two coats to get the intensity true to bottle. Not all Arezia nail colors are lasting, and this is one of the longer lasting colors that actually adheres to the nail, rather than just sit on it.

One coat under sunlight:

Excuse the yellowish discoloration which I got from using #690 without a base coat.

Nuxe Reve de Miel (Gentle Cleansing Gel) for Face

A thick and dark honey-colored gel, it comes in a 200ml plastic pump bottle. It lathers but doesn't foam, giving the impresson of a gentle cleanser. Yet, it washes off cleanly, leaving no residue, no slippery feel. In fact, it leaves the skin around my eye area feeling just a little bit taut.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Cleanser
The cleansing gel contains 1% honey and 4% lime blossom extract to nourish and calm. It also contains glycerin, peach fruit and ginseng extract, and walnut seed extract. The scent is powdery-sweet, but it doesn't linger after washing off.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse for Face Body Hair

I've read good reviews about the Huile Prodigieuse by Nuxe and was glad to finally try it. It is multi-purpose medium yellow-colored oil housed in a thick rectangular glass bottle with a gold-colored screw cap. It comes in retail sizes of 50ml and 100ml, with or without bronze shimmer.

A light but heavily-scented oil for face, body and hair, it absorbs rather well, leaving a slight sheen behind but without any stickiness. It contains macadamia oil, sweet almond oil, hazel seed oil, camellia oil, borage oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, rosemary leaf extract, St John's wort extract and tomato extract.

An obviously nourishing oil, but not one I find moisturising. Love it or hate it for the strong and lasting floral scent.

Arezia Mini Nail Polish #690 - Dark Bronze Gold

I got the Arezia Nail Polish in #690 together with a rather similar but lighter shade in #726. Both are understated enough for work yet classy.

#690 is a simpler dark brown-gold color and this is the color you get with two coats, under sunlight.

This is what it looks like under artificial lighting, after 4 days of wear with frequent hand washing. I notice that different colors have different staying power, and this is one color that lasts longer.
