Coming from a traditional and practical family, special days like birthdays are celebrated by giving the person a red packet. The problem with this however, is that my mum tends to save the money instead of spending it on something she likes. So I always tend to include a little something else with the red packet. For Mother's Day, it's usually a bouquet of flowers. This year, it'll be the heady scent of Ylang Ylang, in the form of pampering aromatherapeutic products from Lemongrass House.
Unlike the sweet-smelling Ylang Ylang Night Balm from Decleor that I'm currently using, I find the scent from Lemongrass House's Ylang Ylang range much more suitable for those more mature. The scent is pungent and heady, with the characteristic hint of jasmine flowers. The jasmine note is much more obvious in their Ylang Ylang Aromatic Room and Pillow Spray, since jasmine water is being used as the base.
